Chuck Gleason was born in Chicago way back in 1929.  His father died when he was eight years old. When he had just turned sixteen, he was a very lonely boy.  Then Chuck had his first date with Janet Mathis.  Her warm loving personality quickly won his heart.


      They quickly became a couple and remained so until they married in 1950.  At this writing they are married 63 years and counting.  They have two children, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.


      Chuck got his BA from Denison University in Granville Ohio which is the site for the beginning of his current novel Collision Course.


      He obtained his Masters Degree in 1981 from the American College in Bryn Mar Pennsylvania. He was 52 years old at that time.


      He worked in an executive position for a large company until he was 39.  Staring potential college bills in the face, Chuck quit his low paying job and went into the life insurance business as an independent agent. 


     His career as a life agent was more than successful.  He qualified for the prestigious

Million Dollar Round Table for over 30 consecutive years! 


        He became an inspirational speaker.  He has spoken to groups as large as 5,000 in 29 states and 7 foreign countries.


        At age 80 he began his third career as an author of romance novels.  Collision Course is his first publication.
